Job Overview
Progressive Resource Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Eligibility Specialist to join its US Medical Billing team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of patient eligibility verification, insurance benefits, and US healthcare insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage details
- Review insurance benefits and confirm coverage for medical services
- Identify and verify patient insurance information using available systems
- Follow up with insurance payers to clarify eligibility and benefits
- Maintain accurate records of eligibility verification and insurance details
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve insurance-related discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy and meet daily productivity and quality targets
Requirements
- Experience in US Medical Billing, preferably in eligibility and benefits verification
- Good understanding of patient eligibility verification and insurance benefits
- Knowledge of US healthcare insurance plans and billing processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good follow-up and problem-solving skills
