Prior Authorization Specialist - Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
Industry: US Medical Billing
Location: Gulberg, Jail Road, Lahore
Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM (PKT)
Salary: Competitive
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medical procedures and services
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits
- Follow up with insurance payers regarding pending, delayed, or denied authorization requests
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams to collect required documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date authorization records in the billing system
- Ensure timely processing of authorization requests and meet daily/weekly productivity targets
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in US Medical Billing, preferably with MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) cases
- Good understanding of US healthcare billing, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work the specified night shift (PKT)
