Job Overview

Exponere Billing, LLC is looking for an experienced Prior Authorization Executive to join its US Medical Billing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and payer requirements, particularly within Cardiology and Pain Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage prior authorization requests for medical procedures and services
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits
• Follow up with insurance payers regarding pending authorization requests
• Ensure authorization requests comply with payer-specific guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and authorization records
• Coordinate with providers and internal teams to obtain required clinical documentation
• Ensure timely completion of assigned authorization tasks

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Prior Authorization, preferably in Cardiology and Pain Management
• Good understanding of insurance verification processes
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and payer guidelines
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and medical billing platforms such as Availity, Athena, or similar systems
• Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
